This is a touchy subject for some people. especially when they have a lot of children in the family.
Many people decide not to have children at their wedding.
So does that mean no flower girl and ring bearer? Maybe you’re considering only those to but other family members or friends may feel excluded if their children are not allowed to be in attendance as well.
The decision is completely up to you. It might work our easier if you’re family is small or your planning a small wedding.
A small wedding with a few close friends would be the ideal situation for no children.
If you’re on the other end of the spectrum and you’re family has children flowing on both ends and you’ve accepted that. It’s a good idea to have some activities planned for young kids.
Pinterest has some great ideas. Here are few ideas I’ve compiled below.
- Wedding coloring book
- I spy (wedding themed of course)
- Toy area
- Giant connect
These are just a few to get the ideas flowing. You should definitely look for wedding activities for children on http://www.pinterest.com
If the concept of providing activities for kids sounds awful to you then you might want to reconsider whether or not they should be there.
However, you’re friends and family with small kids will definitely appreciate you thinking of them.
